Join us at the Cellar Door on Saturday 26 October from 3pm to 5pm for a FREE special tasting of the new release vintage 2022 single vineyard wines at this once a year tasting event. These wines are made in very small volumes – the equivalent of just 2 barrels worth of wine. This tasting is the first opportunity to taste and purchase the 2022 vintage and when they are gone, they are gone. This event is free and wines will be available for purchase by the case with a special discount only available at this event. 

In 2021 Printhie embarked on a whole new era including a new winemaking project – Single Vineyard wines. We have focused on two vineyards – Millwood and Wattleview, and two varieties – Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. These two iconic varieties, in which the Orange Region excels, are two of the greatest wine grape varieties at transmitting single vineyard expression. 

The inaugural 2021 vintage is almost completely sold out. In fact, we have reserved the last 10 6-packs of each of the wines for sale at this tasting. After that, the only way to purchase the remaining bottles of the 2021 wines will be from the Printhie Dining wine list.

The new release 2022 vintage is from a remarkable vintage – the coolest in a decade with long ripening periods, wonderful acid retention and lots of room to build complexity and texture into the wine.

The Printhie Winemakers, Drew Tuckwell and Viviana Wheaton will be in attendance, pouring the wines for you and answering your questions. The tasting will be conducted in the private cellar between 3pm and 5pm. You are welcome to arrive at any time during the two hours to sample the wines and move around the wine tasting stations at your pace. We do suggest arriving before 4pm to allow time to taste all the wines.
