AN EXCLUSIVE EVENING WITH JUSTIN NORTH

SOLD OUT - WAITLIST AVAILABLE. Join us for a special four-course French-inspired dinner on Saturday 26 October, crafted by the renowned Chef Justin North. This event will showcase Justin's exceptional french cuisine skills accompanied by a stellar selection of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Head Winemaker Drew Tuckwell has meticulously curated a line-up of wines for the night, featuring not only Printhie’s finest but also some stand out international additions. Each of the four courses will be served with two wines. During the evening you will hear from Justin North and Drew Tuckwell about the specially curated menu. In a unique collaboration, Chef Justin North will team up with Printhie Dining’s Head Chef, Chris Lees, to deliver a singular french inspired dining experience in Orange. 

This dinner will follow the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Masterclass running from 3pm to 5.30pm. Guests booking both events will receive a bottle each of Topography Chardonnay and Topography Pinot Noir to take home. Wine Club discounts apply for each event.


ABOUT JUSTIN NORTH

Justin North started his career focussing on french cuisine and most notably trained with 2 Michelin starred chef Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir in Oxfordshire, and also spent some time in Paris with Guy Savoy and Pierre Gagnaire. Justin then went on to own and run Bécasse restaurant for over 10 years which specialised in modern French cuisine. Bécasse was named in the top 100 restaurants in the world in 2007. In that year the restaurant also won the coveted Sydney Morning Herald Restaurant of the Year. Justin was awarded the title of 2009 SMH Chef of the Year and in November 2010 was named GQ Chef of the Year. Justin is the author of two award-winning books — Bécasse: Inspirations and Flavours and French Lessons. In 2014 he published his third book Family Cooking with Penguin Australia. Justin has also appeared on Masterchef Australia. 

 

ABOUT CHRIS LEES

Chris Lees brings a wealth of international culinary experience to Printhie Dining, showcasing his passion for seasonality, provenance, and creating a sense of place in every dish. His career includes tenures at two of Canada’s finest restaurants, Relais & Chateaux Langdon Hall and Restaurant Pearl Morissette. Chris has also honed his skills in Stockholm at the Michelin-starred Frantzén and Matias Dahlgren, both featured in San Pellegrino’s The World's 50 Best Restaurants. At Printhie Dining, Chris embraces an elevated agrarian approach, drawing from the Swift family’s rich agricultural heritage to craft a unique and refined dining experience.

PRINTHIE WINES

Established in 1996, Printhie Wines is a 5 red star rated winery located in the Orange region of New South Wales. Owned by the Swift family, Printhie Wines is renowned for their Swift Sparkling wine range crowned Best Australian Sparkling at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships in London. The altitude of the Printhie vineyards range from 600 metres above sea level up to 1070 metres allowing a story of elevation and topography to define their cool climate wine styles. Winemaker Drew Tuckwell has been with Printhie Wines since 2007 and expertly crafts wines from five vineyard sites across the Orange region. In 2022, the Swift family opened a new cellar door which comprises a hatted restaurant offering four course degustation lunches Friday to Sunday and dinner Thursday to Saturday. Beyond the cellar door experiences are also offered including a sparkling masterclass, picnic, fly fishing tutorial or the ultimate helicopter tour to our winery.
